Singapore-based travel startup, TripGuru, is lending a helping hand to Malaysians working in Singapore who have been affected by the movement control order.
Ever since Malaysia's nationwide shutdown, it is estimated that up to 300,000 Malaysians may have been stranded in Singapore, with many more unable to commute to their workplaces anymore.
To contribute to alleviating the situation, TripGuru has launched a website containing a comprehensive list of discounted budget hotels and hostels for Malaysians who are in need of affordable accommodation in Singapore.
Users can easily filter accommodations by pricing, availability, and location via their free-to-use portal, with prices from as low as SG$48 a night.
Besides a comprehensive list of affordable accommodation spots, TripGuru is also an online travel portal that allows users to customise their holidays with affordable pricing and speed.
The company was jointly created by Singaporean licensed travel agency One Adventure and Vibe Data Pte Ltd.
Travel spending is expected to shoot up significantly once the global health situation comes to an end, and TripGuru's solution would be perfect for people who wish to plan an affordable and wholesome trip.
